Summer Programming
Summer programming is a vital component of the 11 month school year at CJA. All incoming 3rd-grade and rising 4th through 8th-grade students attend CJA for a five-week summer term.

CJA partners with outside academic and enrichment programs to offer camp opportunities throughout the summer term as well. These opportunities are made available to some of our academically high-performing students and include programs like Northwestern University’s Center for Talent Development, Dominican University’s Summer Literacy Academy and High Jump.
In addition, some students attend summer camps like Camp Moosilauke in New Hampshire, Camp Tecumseh in Indiana and Red Arrow Camp in Wisconsin.
