Healthy Students
Chicago Jesuit Academy’s Healthy Students Program exists to support the physical and mental well-being of all CJA students. We feel it is a matter of equity to ensure that all of our students have access to nutritious food and high quality mental and physical care.

The program addresses student wellness in three ways:
- Encouraging students to make physical activity a daily habit
- Providing a nutritious breakfast, lunch and snack each day
- Ensuring regular access to social workers and an on-site school nurse
The ultimate goal of the program is that by eighth-grade graduation, our students will develop the skills and habits they need to be physically and mentally healthy moving forward into adulthood and that they will know how to self-advocate for appropriate support when their health is at risk.
