What We Do
Our CJA Student Support team consists of math and reading interventionists, social workers, a speech and language pathologist, school nurse and the Director of Parent Partnership. Together, this team ensures that students have the appropriate social, emotional and academic supports needed to access learning to the fullest.
The team, together with the child’s family, develops an individualized student support plan for scholars receiving services. They approach this work in a wholistic manner, accommodating and responding to different learning styles, developmental stages, educational histories and experiences.
The team also works with students and families to obtain Individual Education Plans (IEP) and/or 504 plans as needed. This ensures students have a formal, documented plan of support in place when they graduate.
