Class of 2027
How’s the school year been?
It’s been very good. I’ve been making new friends, finishing stuff (assignments) on time, and having fun.
What’s your favorite subject?
I love Reading. I am reading It’s a Numbers Game. It’s about football. It teaches you the physics of football and how it works. I got it as a Christmas present from CJA – from Gabriel Environmental.
What does it mean for you to be a part of the CJA community?
It means you are nice. You try your best and do your schoolwork. And it means my friends.
You’re in Culinary Arts. What was your favorite thing you’ve learned to make so far?
Fruit salad. I like pineapple a lot.
What is your favorite thing about CJA?
My favorite thing about the school is how nice everyone is. I love how nice the employees are and how great the school is.
What is one thing you learned this year from a social worker?
How to treat people right. If there is someone you don’t know, you open the door for them. If it’s someone you know, you can play with them and be nice.
The learning interventionists work with every grade. What is something you’ve learned from one of our learning interventionists?
I feel like I’ve learned everything from [Math Interventionist] Ms. Geerts. She has taught me basically how to do all the Math. In fourth grade, she taught me about multiplication, addition and subtraction. She’s great.
Why do you think it’s important that we started to enroll girls at CJA?
It’s fair to have girls here too. It’s important for lots of reasons.
What is your favorite thing you get to do in the campus expansion?
Go to the multipurpose center. We play football and speedball, and there is a lot of fun stuff to do there.
What is something you’re thankful for?
I’m thankful for the people who help me and the people who provide for me. My mom, my dad, Ms. Geerts, Ms. Ritten and Ms. Eidietis.
What’s your favorite grad-at-grad value?
Loving because I like to help people. When you help somebody, it makes you feel good.
