Volunteer

As a full-scholarship lower and middle school, Chicago Jesuit Academy depends on the dedication of many volunteers to help care for our students and alumni and support our school operations. Volunteers enrich the learning and lives of our students, teachers, and staff and are an important part of the CJA community.

Most volunteers assist with student-facing opportunities, but there are many other volunteer options depending on your interests and skills. Student-facing volunteers often lead Reading or Math groups or support students one-on-one or in small groups during a particular subject. These volunteers typically work with students for 2-3 hours a day, twice a week but we can customize a schedule based on your availability. Other volunteer opportunities include supporting our alumni during test and interview preparation or assisting with school, development team or operations projects.
