School Selection and On-Boarding Process
High School Bridge began in 2018 with a pilot serving three schools: St. Ann, St. Catherine-St. Lucy and St. Malachy. We are adding new partner schools each year, using a randomized selection process, until we reach a total of 19 partner schools served in 2027-2028 school year.
Partner schools, including both private and public, were chosen using two criteria: (1) Neighborhood demographics, including median family income and racial make-up, and (2) School stability, including teacher retention rates and overall school stability.
Schools waiting to begin services are still critical partners, providing important data about short-term student outcomes and degree attainment. This data will help us better evaluate the impact of our services and identify ways to make positive improvements.
