What makes CJA special?
The teachers make CJA special. They are nice, respectful and fair. If you do something wrong, they will make sure that you are honest about it. At my old school, if you did something wrong, they would let it slide. That’s not right! CJA is a great school!
I’ve learned to be nice and respect people. I learned that from Ms. Hoesterey. My locker in third grade was down the hall where her office is, and every morning I would say hi if she wasn’t busy. It was nice!
At my last school, boys and girls were together. Because here I’m just with boys [during academic classes], I feel like I can express myself.
That’s easy – Math! I’m really good at it, and I like learning new kinds of Math. I was ready to learn multiplication, so I got to start it. Right now, we’re back to fractions, but we are doing mixed fractions.
Eat pizza. My favorite food is a pizza sub. I also have two cats – Sir Lafayette and Herkes. I like playing Hot Wheels with them. I send the cars flying, and the cats chase after them all over the place.
My favorite thing to do is play and have fun with my friends. We play football outside and in the gym!
I’m excited to learn new stuff. I also want to try a co-curricular. I think Bike Club is only for fifth graders and older, and I really want to learn how to bike!
My favorite grad-at-grad value is open to growth because I always try new things, and most times I end up liking them!
Being alive! I am also grateful to be here. The people here are really nice. Ms. Rucker, Brother Barry, Mr. Palmer, Mr. Mason and Nurse Pam, they all help me.
