What’s your favorite Grad-at-Grad value?
My favorite Grad-at-Grad value is Loving because I know how to do it. I show love by helping someone if they need help, or if they fall, try to help them up.
I came to CJA when I was in third grade. I love it here. My teachers make sure to take care of me.
The work is kind of hard, but when you start to learn it, it gets easier.
My favorite thing about CJA is my teachers. I like how my teachers treat me, and they make sure I’m always okay. They are both very nice and treat me with respect. If I need help, they’re going to help me. If I need a break, they understand. My teachers are Ms. Rucker and Ms. Rozembajgier.
Being part of the CJA community means following the Grad-at-Grad values and being kind to others.
My favorite subjects are Math, Reading and recess. In Reading, we’re reading A Wrinkle in Time. Right now, we are half way through it, and I really like it. I work with Ms. Mattina on a lot of reading and vocab words, too. It’s been really helpful.
I’ve learned to always stay strong if you feel down. Ms. Hoesterey taught us to take deep breaths to calm down, and I use that in class. She also taught me to think about how my teachers love me. She’s really friendly and nice.
I really look up to Ms. Hoesterey, my teachers, my friends, Mr. Beckley, Mr. Mason, Ms. O’Meara, Mr. Palmer, Mr. Brown and Mr. Schauer. I look up to Mr. Palmer because he makes sure that we do what we’re supposed to do.
I’m in basketball which has a lot of the kids from my class. My coaches are really nice, and they are honest with us. They tell us what we need to hear to get better. They are good basketball players, and they play basketball with us sometimes.
I want to do 34 pushups. Right now, I can do 30!
