What is your favorite grad-at-grad value?

My favorite grad-at-grad value is loving. It is love and sharing with others, spreading love. Also, committed to justice. I am committing to doing justice by helping my classmates.

What is your favorite subject?

My favorite subject is Reading. We are reading a book called Frindle. We’re already on chapter eight! It’s about a kid named Nick, and he has an idea to make a really strict teacher called Mrs. Granger cancel all the homework.

Outside of your academic classes, what do you like to do at CJA?

I like to play outside with my friends, especially at Moore Park. We go on the swings and the obstacle course. I love Robotics because there are a lot of really complicated missions to do. We are gonna try to solve those missions, and I will try my best to solve all of them!

What grade is your brother in?

He’s in 8th grade. I like having him in school here with me!

How did you learn about Robotics?

My brother used to have a lot of Legos. He gave some to me, and I learned how to build with them. Then, when I came to CJA, he did Robotics, so I wanted to be like my brother.

What is one thing that you’ve learned from a learning interventionist this year?

Ms. Mattina helped me with so many vocabulary words! She is a Reading teacher. Once I got my iReady scores up, I started working on my own. She really helped me a lot.
